2009 B Modified Rules

The rules for this class will be the same as the UMP modified division with the following exceptions: (see Modified Rules)

1.    All cars must weigh a minimum of 2500 pounds after the race with the driver.

2.    All cars must run on gas not alcohol or additives.

3.    No coil-over shocks or coil-over kits anywhere on car.

4.    No roller cams or roller lifters allowed.

5.    No aluminum heads allowed.

6.    Aluminum or fiberglass roofs are allowed.

7.    A spoiler on the rear of the car with a maximum height of 5" measured from the deck to the tip of the spoiler is allowed.

8.    No grooving, softening, conditioning or siping will be allowed.  You must run a G-60 or Hoosier A tire.

9.    You can run any 2 barrel carburetor up to 500 CFM.

10.    The use of aftermarket engine blocks will remain optional for 2009.

11.    OEM type or aftermarket type transmissions such as Bert, Brinn, or Falcon will remain optional for 2009 as well as bell housings with reverse mount starters.
